CCHA Players of the Week for Oct. 19

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The CCHA has announced its Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 19

Offensive
J.J. Crew, WMU
So., F (Placentia, CA)
Crew registered his first career hat trick in the Broncos’ win over Mercyhurst, 5-1, on Friday, then scored the game-winning goal and added two assists as WMU completed the series sweep, 4-3.
 
Defenseman
Matt Tomassoni, MIA                        
So., D (Carol Stream, IL)
Tomassoni scored a goal in both RedHawk games at New Hampshire and had a +4 rating as Miami earned a win, 6-3, and a tie, 5-5, in Durham, N.H.
 
Goaltender
John Faulkner, UNO
So., (Addison, ON)
Faulkner allowed one goal in each of his first two collegiate starts as Nebraska-Omaha won and tied a game at Colgate. Faulkner stopped 51 of 53 shots in the two games.
 
Rookie
Domenic Monardo, LSSU
F (Oakville, ON)
Monardo led the Lakers in scoring over the weekend with a goal and four assists in their two-game sweep of Canisius at Taffy Abel Arena..
