GLI rescheduled for Dec. 29-30

Detroit, MI... The National Hockey League has announced the cancellation of the 2013 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic and 2012 SiriusXM Hockeytown Winter Festival at Comerica Park in Detroit.

While all of this year’s Winter Festival events at Comerica Park have been canceled, individual games for the 48th Annual Great Lakes InvitationaI featuring Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, Michigan Technological University and the University of Michigan have been rescheduled and will be played at Joe Louis Arena on Saturday, December 29 and Sunday, December 30.
