Michigan Tops Bowling Green

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Michigan defeated Bowling Green, 3-1, ending a three-game losing streak.
Ann Arbor, Mich. – Michigan tallied three goals in the second period to beat Bowling Green, 3-1, snapping a three-game losing streak. Senior defenseman Robert Shea opened the scoring for Bowling Green. Michigan answered with three goals as senior forward A.J. Treais, senior forward Kevin Lynch and freshman forward Justin Selman all found the back of the net. Michigan sophomore forward Phil Di Giuseppe recorded the only multi-point night with a pair of assists. In goal for Michigan, freshman goaltender Steve Racine made 15 saves while Bowling Green senior goaltender Andrew Hammond turned aside 35 shots.
