MSU shuts out UNO, 3-0

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Michigan State handed Nebraska-Omaha the Mavericks’ first loss of the season with a win at Munn Ice Arena, 3-0.
 
At East Lansing, Mich., sophomore goaltender Drew Palmisano made 31 saves for Michigan State in the Spartans’ victory over Nebraska-Omaha, 3-0. The Spartans got goals from freshmen forwards Derek Grant and Anthony Hayes, as well as junior forward Corey Tropp. Tropp also collected an assist on Grant’s goal, giving him six multi-point efforts through nine games.
