OMAHA, Neb. - The 12th-ranked UNO hockey team ventures to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan this weekend to face clustermate Northern Michigan University on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20 and 21. Face-off is 6:35 p.m. CT each night from the Berry Events Center in Marquette, Mich. The Mavericks are 5-2-3 on the season and 2-2-2-1 in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association.

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO hockey team changed positions in two of the three weekly national rankings released today. The Mavericks are coming off a home split against Lake Superior State. UNO won the first meeting last Friday, 4-0, before dropping the second game on Saturday, 3-1.

Friday's game begins at 7:35 p.m. while Saturday's game starts at 7:05 p.m. The Mavericks are 4-1-3 on the year and 1-1-2-1 in the CCHA.

The Mavericks are preparing for a two-game home series against CCHA foe Lake Superior State on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13 and 14. Game time is 7:35 p.m. on Friday and 7:05 p.m. on Saturday.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The UNO hockey team got a goal from freshman Terry Broadhurst in the fourth round of the shootout to earn an extra point against Michigan State in the final game of their two-game series. The teams had skated to a 3-3 tie through overtime.

EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan State Spartans handed the UNO hockey team its first loss of the season, shutting out the Mavericks 3-0 on Thursday night at Munn Ice Arena. Former Omaha Lancer Drew Palmisano stopped all 31 shots to record his first shutout of the season.
