2010-11:  Appeared in 31 games and started 26 for third letter. Recorded a 2.52 goals against average and a .916 save percentage. Named CCHA Player of the Month in November. Three-time CCHA Goaltender of the Week (Nov. 22, Nov. 29, Jan. 24). Had shutout after stopping 37 shots at Bemidji State (Nov. 26). Stopped 42 shots at Lake Superior State (Nov. 5). Had 41 saves at Alaska-Fairbanks (Nov. 20).

2009-10:  Appeared in 11 games and started five for second letter. Recorded at 2.33 goals against average and a .919 save percentage. Had a shutout at Ohio State (Nov. 6) on 32 saves. The Brad Werenka Coaches Academic Award winner.

2007-08:  Lettered for the first time.  Appeared in 11 games for NMU.  Had a career-high 30 saves at Bowling Green (Nov. 17). 

Before NMU:  Lettered four times in hockey at Cloquet High School. Won the Frank Brimsek Award (top senior goaltender in the state) as a senior.  First team all-state as a senior. Two-time all-area first team. Played baseball; was a pitcher and an outfielder.  All-area first team in baseball as a senior.

Personal:  A 2007 graduate of Cloquet High School. Likes to golf, camp and go boating. Majoring in business. Son of Karen Ellingson and Mike Ellingson. Born on April 14, 1989.
