Prior to Ohio State: Spent the past two seasons playing for the Powell River Kings in the BCHL, with the Kings winning the BCHL Coastal Conference Championship and reaching the Fred Page Cup finals both years ... received the Top Defenceman Award for the Coastal Conference and was a conference all-star after the 2010-11 campaign and served as an assistant captain ... had 43 points, with 11 goals and 32 assists, his final year after a 10-24-34 line his first season with the Kings ...
