The CCHA, FSN, Tim Hortons, Comcast, the Detroit Red Wings, RBK and Perani's Hockey World hosted 55 boys and girls to a "Have Fun, Play Hockey" clinic at the Onyx-Rochester Ice Arena Saturday, Sept. 27. The free clinic was open to kids who pre-registered and have never played organized hockey before. Almost 2,000 kids have had a chance to try the sport of hockey through the Hockey is Fun program. All equipment including skates and a stick were provided to participants. Members of local high school hockey teams were on hand to mentor players on and off the ice.
