At Fairbanks, Alaska, senior forward Braden Walls and sophomore forward Dustin Sather each connected for a power-play goal and added an assist to help the Nanooks to a 4-0 win over the U.S. National Team Development Program Under-18 Team Saturday night.

 

Freshman forward Carlo Finucci and senior defenseman Steve Vanoosten also scored for Alaska, while junior forward Brandon Knelsen garnered two assists on the night.

 

Senior goaltender Chad Johnson and freshman netminder Scott Greenham combined for 21 saves to secure the shutout. U.S. NTDP goalie Brandon Maxwell saved 27 shots.

The Nanooks will face the University of British Columbia in exhibition action on Friday, October 3 at 7:05 p.m. at the Carlson Center.
