Farmington Hills, Mich., Northern Michigan, Ferris State, and Michigan record exhibiton wins over Toronto, Windsor, and Waterloo.

At Marquette, Mich., There was plenty of third-period action for the Wildcats in a 4-1 exhibiton victory over Toronto. With a late second-period goal by Toronto's Robert Kay, Northern Michigan answered with four third-period goals. Senior forward Nick Sirota added one goal and two assists for the Wildcats. Freshman forward Anderw Cherniwchan notched two a pair of  goals while freshman defenseman Ben Lindemulder also turned the red lilght on. Freshman goaltender Devan Hartigan faced 13 shots in the Wildcats victory over the Varsity Blues.

At Big Rapids, Mich., sophmore goalie Pat Nagle faced 14 shots in Ferris State's 4-1 win over Windsor. Senior forward Brendan Connolly led the Bulldogs by scoring two goals. Sophomore defenseman Scott Wietecha added one goal and one assist. Senior forward Corey Coutrier clinched the eventual game-winner for Ferris less than three minutes into the second period. Sophomore forwards Mike Fillinger and Justin Menke each added one assist for the Bulldogs along with junior forwards Aaron Lewicki, Matt Case, and Blair Riley.

At Ann Arbor, Mich., sophomore forwards Carl Hagelin and Louie Caporusso netted first-period goals for the Wolverines in a 3-1 win over Waterloo. Junior defenseman Steve Kampfer added a third period power-play marker with assists coming from sophomore forward Aaron Palushaj and junior forward Chris Summers. Freshman defenseman Greg Pateryn, sophomore defenseman Chad Langlais, and sophomore forwards Scooter Vaughan and Carl Hagelin each added one assist in Michigan's second exhibiton victory of the season. Sophomore goaltender Bryan Hogan faced 17 shots against the Warriors.
