Friday Hockey Game Against Miami Moved to Sunday for ESPNU

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- To accommodate ESPNU coverage, the Western Michigan Hockey team has moved the game with Miami on Friday, Dec. 5, to Sunday Dec. 7 at 4:05 p.m.

Tickets for the Friday game will be used for attendance of the Sunday afternoon game.The Saturday game of the serieswill remain unchanged and is scheduled for 7:35 p.m.

The Broncos appeared on television seven times in the 2007-08 season, including a 3-0 shutout in the final home game of the season against no. 11 Notre Dame on Comcast Local. Sophomore Patrick Nagorsen capped off the night, scoring his first career goal in spectacular fassion and making ESPN Sportcenter's Top 10 Plays of the Day. The shutout also marked the fifth of WMU goaltender Riley Gill's career, tying him with Marc Magliarditi (1995-96) for most in school history.

Western Michigan dropped its only game on ESPNU last season, losing 4-2 to Nebraska Omaha at home.
