At Farmington Hills, Mich., - Miami forward Tommy Wingels netted a pair of goals as the RedHawks completed a weekend sweep of RPI with a 5-1 victory. The freshman opened the scoring at 9:48 of the first period before Christian Jensen answered for the Engineers in the second. Senior captain Ryan Jones gave Miami the lead, tallying the game-winner just 27 seconds into the final frame. Wingels, along with junior Justin Mercier and freshman Carter Camper, also found the back of the net in the third. Jared Palmer and Alec Martinez each picked up two assist for the RedHawks, who have now won seven in a row on the road. Junior goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 18 saves to earn his 12th win of the season.
