Three CCHA Players Nominated for BNY Mellon Hockey Humanitarian Award

Farmington Hills, Mich. - Three players from the CCHA, Kaare Odegard (Alaska),Mike Johnson (Notre Dame) and Brett Beebe (Western Michigan), are among 11 college players that have been nominated for the 2013 BNY Mellon Hockey Humanitarian Award.
For the 18th consecutive year, the Hockey Humanitarian Award Foundation is honoring college players whose efforts have helped their communities.
Finalists for the award will be announced in February, and the 2013 recipient will be recognized in a ceremony on Friday April 12th as part of the 2013 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvaia.
