Farmington Hills, Mich. – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) today announced that sophomore forward Nolan Youngmun of the University of Alaska has been suspended for one (1) game, under the league’s supplemental discipline process, as the result of an incident that occurred in a game against The Ohio State University on February 9.
The action was taken by the league after a review of an incident that occurred near the 3:57 mark of the second period. The review showed the Alaska player delivering an illegal hit to the head of an Ohio State player.
Youngmun is ineligible to play in Alaska’s next game on February 15 against Lake Superior State University. He is eligible to return to the lineup on February 16.
